It's week 8 of the Spring 2021 One Room Challenge and we have definitely made progress, but still have about 4 weeks left to actually complete the yard after delays. This week the plumbing was completed, everything was finally backfilled and we had fence posts installed. This blog post will be updated with our true final "reveal" in July, so keep checking back for weekly updates!
Our week 7 post details our remaining schedule and it looks like we will be able to stay pretty true to that, although having an actual swimmable pool is dependent on some pool equipment coming in on time. Although it feels like we are SO far from the finish line, I have to look back and see how far we (and this backyard) have come & that makes me smile. Projects take time and projects happening now that are still impacted by pandemic related delays take even more time lol and that is okay. I am still so proud of what we have been able to accomplish and I am excited to finally be able to start working on all of the DIY projects in the yard :)
The One Room Challenge Featured Designers & Guest Participants have just completely blown me away though. Project after project, my jaw is just hanging. Everyone completely rocked this challenge and deserves a massive round of applause!
